The challenge
Credentialing systems fail on issuance, not on technology.
Digital credentials only create value once institutions actually issue them at volume. The blocker was rarely the underlying system. It was that issuing and managing credentials asked too much of the administrators doing it, so adoption stalled at pilot scale.
What I did
Design for the administrator, and adoption follows.
The redesign simplified issuance and management for the people operating the system rather than optimising the end-user view that already worked. Credential usage grew seventy-three percent, with materially higher user satisfaction.
