The Mac app

She is not changing

She follows the fullest Claude Code or Codex session you used in the last 20 minutes, and checks every few seconds. Click her to see which sessions she can see. If the list is empty, start a session and send one message.

Her percent is not what Claude Code says

She compares the context of the latest reply with the model's full window, 1M for current Claude models and 200K for Haiku. Claude Code keeps some room in reserve, so it can show a slightly different number. Bedtime starts at 95% for that reason, and Settings can move it earlier.

She is in the way

Drag her somewhere else, make her smaller with a right click, or hide her from the menu bar. Clicks on the empty space around her go through to the window behind.

How do I remove her?

Quit Koharu from the menu bar and drag it to the Trash. If you turned on Open at login, turn it off in Settings first.

The ChatGPT plugin

Her numbers look wrong

ChatGPT does not share real token counts with plugins, so the number comes from ChatGPT's own estimate of the chat when it calls her. It can be off, especially with large files. Her meter only moves forward inside one chat; press Reset to start it over.

She thinks I am on Plus

That is her default until you tell her. Press A (Plan) in her widget or say Set Koharu to my Pro plan.

She stopped at pajamas

That is the last tier, on purpose. It means the chat is about as long as your plan's context window, so the start of the conversation may fall out of ChatGPT's memory. Open a new chat and she arrives fresh, like a new morning.

How do I remove her?

In ChatGPT open Plugins, find Koharu and remove her. Her stored records expire on their own; see the privacy policy.
